We’ve been back from Oregon for a couple weeks and we already want to go back! The trip was wonderful and it was hard for us to leave. It didn’t help that the weather was amazing throughout the entire trip. Paul took the first half of the trip off from work so it made the trip even relaxing for him. We did our favorite things while there-see old and great friends, park time and bubbles with Boopa, eat at yummy restaurants, ride in Grampa’s truck, a visit to the coast, help Meema with kitty chores, water flowers with Gramma, play competitive card games, and lots of outside play. We loved it. Every night the kids were exhausted and ready to start the fun the next morning. It was also great because Teresa, Kevin, and Sarah were able to make trips to see us which we loved. We also had time to make a trip to Walla Walla which was so nice to see everyone and spend time there. We are starting to get back into our routing with Claire doing swim lessons and the kids starting camp again this week but we are really missing home! Here are some pictures of what we did.

The kids had so much fun. Unfortunately it was incredibly windy! We really need to take them to the beach here for a bit of a warmer experience. Claire laid right in the water/sand and was a bit surprised at how cold it was!
The kids’ different reactions to sand-Claire just laid in it and Henry couldn’t figure out how to walk in it so he just bear crawled in the beginning.
