We finally have our first lost tooth for Claire! For the last year of so Claire has been constantly saying her tooth is loose since her friends started loosing teeth. Finally about three days ago she said she did and we checked-sure enough it was a loose tooth! The girl just kept wiggling and wiggling it until her gum was irritated. This afternoon she was eating an english muffin and got upset because her tooth turned sideways and started to bleed. In true Claire fashion, she wouldn’t let Paul or me help her and continued to have a minor meltdown. She finally pulled it out herself and was so proud.
I’m a little sad, she is so grown up now. Instead of putting it out for the tooth fairy tonight, she is insisting on taking it to school tomorrow to show off. Can’t deny her the joy of her first tooth.
Also this afternoon, Claire was super cute and playing with Cameron. For Claire, that is awesome to see. She is still a little put off by him at times with his noise and lack of interacting. Now that is he is cooing and smiling she is much more willing to interact with him.
