It was an exciting morning in our house today. Both kids started their “school” this morning. Claire was very excited to go and see her friends; she has been talking about them all summer long. The Y here also offers a program for one year olds, so Henry is going a couple mornings a week as well. Last week we had an orientation and both kids really did a great job seeing their classroom and meeting their teachers. This morning both kids had a different way of getting ready for their big day:
Claire decided to play with her farm and airplane while eating breakfast:
Henry decided he want to have clean teeth and spent most of the morning in the bathroom brushing them(isn’t Claire supposed to do that?):
They both decided to practice walking with their backpacks on before sitting on their “school bus”:
The both did a great job being dropped off and I have no idea what I am going to do with my free time; probably take a shower before 1 pm.
