Discovery Kids

As we are getting settled in Charlotte, we are realizing just how wonderful it is to live in a big city with kids. There really is no shortage of things to do. It was so nice after being in two areas that just did not have enough to do for Claire's age. A few days ago we took Claire to Discovery Kids. There is the main Discovery museum that is in downtown Charlotte but a few years ago they built one designed for children ages newborn-8. The best part is that it is located in Huntersville which is about 10 minutes from our house. Absolutely wonderful. The museum was so fun. Claire's eyes just lit up when she saw all the exhibits. There was a fire truck for her to drive, a boat to ride in, and race cars galore to explore. She was in her little heaven. We will be spending a lot of time there, I just hope she doesn't get bored!

Don't forget, the NASCAR Hall of Fame is located here!

Henry's idea of what to do in a children's museum.

Farmer Claire

Of course, this child finds the one ball in the whole museum and won't let it go.

All chickens want hugs!

Henry finally decided the museum was worth waking up.
