Goat a Boy?!?

Anyone who has been around Claire for the past few weeks has been asked if they are a boy or a girl. It is her favorite thing to do to EVERYTHING. Cars, animals, people, trees, any type of object is assigned a gender by Claire. If it doesn't have a gender like, say, an airplane, she will then say, "A plane is a plane is a plane!". Always in groups of three.

It is our last day in Eugene and one of my favorite places to go is Lone Pine Farms. It's a great local farm that has all sorts of fun stuff for kids Claire's age. We walked around, talked to the goats, lambs, and a llama. It was a fun way to spend our last afternoon. She assigned every animal and person with a gender. Unfortunately, when she gets the gender wrong with children, the poor children look quite offended.
