This morning I took the kids strawberry picking at a local farm with friends. Claire was very excited and didn’t eat breakfast because she thought that the strawberries would be her breakfast. Silly girl. Right away she starting picking strawberries and eating them. I tried to explain how dirty they were and if she ate too many she would get a stomach ache, but that only went so far. Henry was a little hesitant at first, but after he realized he got to hold the basket he was pretty excited. We got a good amount of strawberries and now Claire wants me to make a strawberry cake. Hmmm….I hope she’s ok with some crepes.
