A bit late, but Happy Halloween! We had a great time last week. Grampa came to visit us and see the craziness that is Halloween here. The kids had a blast with him and it was a nice set of extra hands since Paul has been gone off and on the last few weeks. First up was the kids’ parties at school. Henry was first:
Once Henry figured out that there were lollypops in the candy bowls, it was all over. He started asking for “oi-ops” and digging through the candy. A lesson to be taught there! Here he is digging through his bag…success! A oi-op.
Claire’s was up next. She had a blast and was happy to see her friends all dressed up.
She loved being Superman!
Finally, the big night. Claire was so excited to go Trick or Treating. She really got into it and I thought she was going to last awhile. She lasted 20 minutes, which was perfect. Henry got about two houses in and started to get scared of all the costumes. The kids really enjoyed handing out candy and telling everyone, “Happy Halloween!”.
