The kids have been asking and asking to go to the zoo since we became a member in March. It has been so hot that we have had no desire to go. Finally with the cooler temps, we ventured to the zoo today. The kids had a blast. Even Cameron seemed to enjoy being out and about.

Since we’ve moved here, they have been working on a new elephant exhibit that is pretty amazing. It will have a large pool, a few different areas for the elephants to roam, and a station where visitors can spray the elephants with water. Today was the first times since we have moved back where the elephants were close. They have been moved all around while construction has been happening. The kids were excited to see them closer.
A trip to the zoo would not be complete without a ride on the train.
We have loved the cooler weather and are not looking forward to the hot weather returning at the end of the week!
